There’s a new Gallery in town…humble, but here, non-the-less. Opening Night, April 12th, 4-8pm, will coincide with the Somatic Center’s Open House and Arts Night Out downtown Northampton. Please join us for this momentous occasion. We’ll have some tasty snacks, music, art and mini healing arts sessions, where you’ll get to meet and greet our new practitioners of Massage Therapy, Bind-Mind Centering®, Clinical Somatic Education, Somatic Experiencing, Tantra Education and Expressive Arts & Movement. And there just might also be some dancing. So come break out with us in exhultation. We are here!

Open House / SCO Gallery Opening

For our very first art showing at SCO gallery, we are so lucky to have Margaret Humbert-Droz’s BioArt forms on display. They’re gorgeous! If you haven’t seen her work yet, I think you’ll be wow’d as was I. Here are some photos and descriptions:

These are multi-layered, multi-colored, different kinds of papers – from tissue-fine to heavy, watercolor quality. Some are cut, or painted, often layered, and occasionally sewn together to create shapes that are reminiscent of living cell structures under the microscope.
