Module 2: Finding Home in Your Core

Module 3

In this module, you will begin your buddy practice. Like children, who need other people to learn language, we need a live buddy to rewire our brains for embodiment around other people. This is a good time to begin scheduling your buddy practices. This module includes three buddy practices, of 30 minutes each.

Module Structure

Module 2. Lesson 1: Intention

Intention, or perspective, can vastly change how a person lives an experience. Cultivate being deliberate in these embodied practices. 

Module 2. Lesson 2: Embodiment and Your Core

What do we mean by your core here? And why is this important for the nervous system, a sense of self, and connection with others?

Take five minutes to review the demo video of Sitz Bones Rock in preparation for your first buddy practice.

Module 2. Lesson 4: Sitz Bones Rock – Buddy Practice #1, 30 minutes

Plan and meet for a 30-minute practice session with your buddy, online or in-person.

Module 2. Lesson 7: Self Reflection – Digest and Integrate, Write or Talk with a Buddy

Doing your self reflection work puts you in charge of your own safety and learning. Take the time to digest and integrate your learning, both in mind and body.
